Next Meeting – July 19!
Hey all-
Our next Communications Network Meeting will be Saturday, July 19 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (exact location TBA).
Reminder: This meeting is for anyone who works in a Communications and/or Creative Department.
I really hope to see all of you there so mark your calendars now so you can come!
The agenda will go something like this:
- Meet & Greet
- Eat & Network
- Roundtable Discussions
You’ll notice that the Roundtable Discussion is something new we will do this time. I have compiled a list of subjects that I think will be of interest to all of us. We’ll spend the majority of the time discussing these topics. I’m sure we won’t get to all of them and these topics are only the tip of the iceberg! Take a look at the topics below (in no particular order) and begin to think about your experiences and how you would answer them. What advice can you give to others? Bring samples of your work, your style guides, departmental forms, pictures…anything you want us to see that pertains to these subjects.

- Creative Process
- How Do You Get Inspired?
- Biggest Frustrations vs. Biggest Wins
- Printing: In-house or Outsourced?
- Bulletins: How Are They Laid Out and How Do You Decide What Goes In?
- Biggest Project Coming Up
- Branding And When To Re-Brand (your church, events, sermon series, etc)
- Translating Events, Sermon Series, Mission & Vision Across Multiple Campuses
Anything we don’t get to will roll over for our next meeting. Feel free to email me and give me any topics you’d like us to use for future meetings!
